Greetings from the Smokey Mountains!
As I sit in my home office, gazing over the breathtaking Smokey Mountains, it's surreal to reflect on the journey that led me here. Just a few years ago, I found myself trapped in the confines of a seemingly ideal life—a burnt-out ER nurse, entangled in a job that promised retirement benefits, a six-figure income, and the illusion of success, all while working part-time.
From an outsider's perspective, it appeared as though I had achieved everything one could desire. Yet, deep within, I was engulfed by a sense of misery, depression, and anxiety. The medical system was failing, and I felt utterly out of alignment with my purpose. Moments before stepping into work, tears would stream down my face, a silent plea for change echoing within me.
In this desperation, a faint whisper of hope emerged—the voice of another nurse coach beckoning me to explore a new path. Embracing this call, I took a leap of faith. I realized that my life was destined for something greater; I was meant to be a healer of souls.
In September 2021, I made the courageous decision to bid farewell to my 12-year tenure as a nurse, relinquishing everything, including my home, in pursuit of a different existence. Despite the fear of scarcity gnawing at my core, I dared to confront it head-on.
I confronted my fears, my life underwent a remarkable transformation—I fashioned the life I had always envisioned. Today, I am not only a devoted mother, wife, and friend, but also a steadfast advocate for personal well-being. I carve out time for self-care, prioritize continuous personal growth, and nurture a thriving business that aligns with my deepest aspirations.
Engaging the guidance of my first business coach served as the pivotal moment that catapulted me to where I stand today. I am honored to be part of a community of extraordinary entrepreneurs who have ignited my spirit and fostered an environment where I can fully embrace my potential as a coach, mother, wife, and friend.
If there's one lesson I've learned along this transformative journey, it's this: never relinquish your vision. Embrace the healing journey that paves the path to the life you desire, including the cultivation of a thriving practice.
Where do you envision yourself one year from now?
